In light of recent events and the reports of Young Bob becoming a target of unprovoked violence, British Security UK (BS UK) has made the decision to provide volunteer security support to help protect his safety and wellbeing.

No individual should ever be subjected to violence, threats or intimidation simply for exercising their right to freedom of speech.

At BS UK, we firmly believe that everyone has the right to express their views peacefully, without fear of physical harm, harassment or intimidation.

Our volunteers will be providing a visible, professional and reassuring presence, with a focus on safeguarding, preventing confrontation and ensuring that Young Bob can continue his activities in a safe environment.

We want to make our position absolutely clear:

We are not there to provoke, intimidate or encourage confrontation. We are there to protect, support and help maintain a peaceful environment.

Our volunteers operate with discipline, respect and a commitment to public safety, working within the law and cooperating with the relevant authorities where necessary.

Scotland's Education Secretary, Màiri McAllan has announced the public inquiry into rape gangs and exploitation in Scotland over the past three decades will formally begin on November 11.

The statutory inquiry, chaired by Professor Alexis Jay, will provide recommendations and report on findings as they emerge.

This follows a year of campaigning from victims calling for the Scottish government to acknowledge and investigate the abuse they suffered while in care as teenagers.

A Bradford PCSO has been found guilty of passing confidential information to members of a gang behind a machete attack which resulted in one man having his hand cut off.

Alice Dobson, 31, was found guilty of sharing details of the police investigation with Rahees Khan, 43, who was one of five men found guilty of conspiracy to murder.

Rahees Khan, of no fixed abode, Mohammed Waqqas Khan, 27, of Folkestone Street, Bradford, Hanzalah Saladin, 27, of no fixed abode, Adam Takolia, 29, of no fixed abode, and a fifth man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were all found guilty of conspiracy to murder the two men.

In Gateshead a young girl is blindfolded and dragged into an address by a grooming gang, she tries to escape but they drag her back.

Northumbria Police turn up 2 hours later, they don't put the men in cuffs and just allow one of them to come back up to her outside the address.
