@TeachersFed Are we able to see the ‘deal’? I can only find details for new teachers or end of scale teachers. Was there anything in the deal for the teachers in the middle bands?
@babachangamire@abcnews Not sure….but the NT govt might have. I guess I was just suggesting it might not be a black and white case. Lots of stakeholders. And at the end of the day, there are no guarantees the water holes are ever croc free despite everyone e’s best efforts.
@babachangamire@abcnews Possibly not. Earlier this month I heard a radio segment about opening the water holes despite the rangers/national parks holding off to clear all the crocs. The segment was about the pressure to open the areas due to the tourist season despite the rangers misgivings.
@LordKelvin92 @DrDebHayes @USyd_SSESW@SydneyUni_Media Bill I graduated five years ago and didn’t know what phonics were. But I could tell you all about Maslow and Bloom. Luckily my school has filled in the extensive gaps.
@DebHoggoz Further to this….I would suggest all new teachers should spend the first year working in a casual capacity. So much valuable learning as you move around classes and schools to inform your practice.
@GeorgeHarrisson SDEHS have been a game changer for my son. This mode of delivery would benefit so many kids who struggled in public highschool, would love to see it made available to more kids.
@JonathanSlaght @SarahKanowski What a shame you can’t come to Sydney. Loved your book, I listened to it on audiobook last year and it really stayed with me.
