I am and have been pivoting out of the rage baiting for a while now. I have been focussed in showing how in Canada the only political choice is to choose from the City of London and British Empire controlled political system. Whether you “choose” Lib or CON or any other sitting party, you have chosen the trap. We have to be artistic to make a difference going forward because as Andrew Breitbart had claimed Politics is downstream from culture. My latest visit to the AGO was with new eyes. I have been to the AGO at least a hundred times as I used to take mental health survivors and the poor to the gallery through a program I created with my wife. The trips and our program had profound effects on people but yesterday I went for the first time in years with new eyes. I will be writing a Substack on the experience and show how the future direction for Canada was being mapped with artwork from the past as the collections speak volumes of the direction of Canada. Thompson has collections in the gallery and is influential and Thompson is also Reuters. The elite are shaping our future and we must be the ones driving that direction. Glad to see you will be sharing your art and interests. My experience yesterday was extremely positive including a multitude of interactions on the street. We have to break the back of doom and doomerism.
@shimjelly@Christy4Change Thanks for splashing fresh water on faces every day. Wakey wakey Canada. There is dirt to be found at every level of the administrative state
The first thing you see when you get off the plane at London Heathrow is HSBC. The State Department should tell the Brits that if the UK government moves forward with seizing YouTube's algorithm, the US government will move forward with seizing HSBC's investments.
🇬🇧 The Dominion of Canada is still a British Colony (1867) that lost important opportunities to set itself free from Britain. Corrupt politicians deprived the people of their sovereignty.
It’s time to learn the lessons from America and 1776.
🇺🇸 250 years ago we declared independence from the British Empire. 125 years ago, they stole it back—and erased the evidence.
This July 4th, Trump is reclaiming what McKinley died for: the American System.
With all due respect Colonel Watkins the separatist movement is run by the Canadian freedom grift and when you have clowns leading the movement it will collapse as fast as it started. If you research the History of political movements namely the NDP of Canada its roots are in Calgary Alberta. Socialism in Canada was born in Alberta. The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation — the country’s main socialist party that later became the NDP — was officially founded in Calgary in 1932. Farmers, workers, and progressive groups came together during the Great Depression to push for a cooperative system focused on meeting people’s needs instead of profit. That Calgary convention was the real birth of organized democratic socialism in Canada.
After being founded in Calgary in 1932, the CCF quickly spread across the Prairies, especially in Saskatchewan where it won power in 1944 — making Saskatchewan the first province with a socialist government. From there, the movement grew nationwide.
In 1961, the CCF merged with the labor movement to form the New Democratic Party — the NDP. Ed Broadbent became the leader of the NDP in 1975, and under him, the party had its strongest national results up to that point, peaking at 20% of the vote and 43 seats in 1988. He led until 1989.
So Alberta lit the spark, Saskatchewan fanned it into real power, and it grew into a national party from there.
Review who was the mayor of Calgary for about 10+ years. He is now the leader of the Alberta NDP a party that ran the province for 4 years not too long ago. It’s important to understand the dynamics.
Sorry but the Albertans are as gaslit as the rest of the country. Poilievre was moved to Alberta to work the crowd with their premiere Agent Smith. They are destroying the separatist movement as Poilievre/Smith/Carney launched their Unify Canada campaign. As for actionable steps, they only work with a judiciary that is independent and fair and that doesn’t exist. The final day on separation will be the judiciary. You need to bone up on the recent Clarity Act of Alberta. If you are relying on Jeffrey Rath for your info, check out his background. Champion for the First Nations oligarchy and has fought for them through the UN in Alberta. Then there is Chinese FIPA that has a lock on Canada’s energy and mining from coast to coast including every energy asset in Alberta. It’s a lot more complex than you know.
And never once has he ever criticized Harper for the CHINESE FIPA! Ever!! Think on that. I believe Cooper is a CPC shill telling only half the story. You’re right, it shouldn’t be non partisan but Cooper is certainly partisan. Do a deep dive like I did.
Sam Cooper has never called out Stephen Harper or the Conservatives for signing the Canada-China FIPA in 2014. In fact, there’s no evidence he’s written or posted about FIPA at all — not in his articles, not on X, not in interviews.
The only times FIPA comes up around him are in reader comments on his Substack, where people criticize Harper for it. He has never responded. Cooper sticks to Liberal-era failures on China and is completely mum on the greatest sellout to China by the Harper government and Poilievre supported it like every Conservative in the party. Canada needs extremely honest unbiased reporting. Laying half the blame is a half assed job!!
