Just read about #thebigplasticcount that @GreenpeaceUK are leading on. All you need to do is sign up and log the #plastic you put in your #recycling bin for a week. They will then be researching how much is actually #recycled... a very worthy campaign to get involved in 🤓

More #printing fun yesterday... the #prints didn't quite turn out right (we think maybe I applied too much #ink or the card was too absorbent?) but the third image of the printing plate gives you an idea what I was aiming for... will be mulling it over and giving it another go!

These #photographs of #hastings #beach taken from @_art_on_sea don't do the view justice. The colours from the #fishing #boats and other equipment were so striking against the slightly stormy #sea and sky. I do love our #coastline 🌊

#Covid_19 caught up with me, forcing me to cancel my weekend plans. Fixed up the #vintage #cardigan my #mum #knitted before I was born. Patched up the elbows with an old #leather jacket, replaced the buttons with ones that my #grandma gave me and replaced the worn button loops 😊

Last weeks' #printing - think my #trees need more leaves (which I created by covering blobs of glue with sand) and my simplified #baby face is too simple - but interesting when layered with the original from a few weeks ago. What do you think?

Working on 2 new #collograph #prints - a simplified version of the baby and a #print of a tree. I've cut away the card for the areas I want dark (so it picks up more #ink ), added masking tape for a varied midtone and glue for the lightest bits. Hoping to print them next week...
