@amandapanda814 It’s actually pretty dangerous due to the undertow and the water is really cold year round. You won’t want to go in a above your knees!
Jesus made no distinction between the poor and rich, the young or old, the healthy or infirm. He did not shun those of different faiths or those of different cultural backgrounds. He loved everyone. And He has commanded us to “love one another,” as He has loved us (John 15:12).
I think often of those of you who are suffering, worried, afraid, or feeling alone. I assure each one of you that the Lord knows you, that He is aware of your concern and anguish, and that He loves you—intimately, personally, deeply, and forever.
"Reread the Book of Mormon...there will come into your lives and into your homes an added measure of the Spirit of the Lord, a strengthened resolution to walk in obedience to His commandments, and a stronger testimony of the living reality of the Son of God." -Pres. Hinckley
This CONFERENCE is what I was anxious for in April. Interesting to hear the messages after our leaders have also been tutored during this trying time. Maybe all of our hearts are more open, able to receive more because we are asking more. #GeneralConference
We’ve all made choices we regret, but no amount of shame will ever change the past. Yes, apologize & do everything in your power to heal the wounds, but your past choices don’t define your life or the life of anyone else.
@calvinjburke Let’s never forget that we came to earth to learn, grow and progress. As we continue to learn and gain more knowledge our ideas may change. I am grateful he came forward and shared what he has learned and is attempting right the wrongs he may have made.
It’s tough to live with one foot in the world and one foot in the church. We love the Lord, but we still don’t want to miss out on what the world offers. Eventually you have to make a choice and put both feet on one side or the other.
Choose Him.

On this glorious Easter Sunday, I invite you to find joy in one of the most significant of all scriptural phrases: “He is not here: for he is risen” (Matthew 28:6).
I know Jesus Christ lives. And because He lives, we too can live again.
