@reddingsbf I read 10-12 books per month. I read for two hours a night before bed. I read whenever I have more than five minutes to spare -- standing in line, waiting rooms, etc.
@viviannereim Mine screamed bloody murder for the first three months. He also never stopped moving ever ever ever. He's 11 now, talks nonstop, and still never stops moving. Less screaming though. But yeah, there was no basking in the glow of snuggling a newborn in this house. π³
My thoughts and prayers are with Ian Hutchison, his family, his friends, his teammates and the UMD, UMBC and MSHL communities.
Check on your teammates when you can. Hold them close. And know you matter, and that itβs okay to ask for help. β€οΈ
@JTAlexander I read 319 books in 2021 and that was the biggest year for me. I wasn't reading War and Peace but they were full length (admittedly mostly trashy) books. So obviously not impossible, but definitely an outlier.
I'm from Baltimore County and so have been watching men's lacrosse since I could hold my head up and I *still* think it's insane that the goalies just wear shorts!! (LFG Princeton! π―) #ncaalax
Oh that's soooooo pithy π (Anyway... we follow the kiddo's lead on what seems important to him and what we can eliminate. Some years are heavier than others. The SECRET is having conversations about expectations early and often.)
