On Monday evening at Latitude 0 Hotel, photographer @Shemimages launched The Rift: Scar of Africa- a book that asks you to slow down.

For 20+ years, he followed the Great Rift Valley, not chasing drama, but paying attention. “We treat the Rift as geology,” he said.

“But it’s also what connects us.” It’s a powerful reminder that a scar can be a source of life.
