What a fabulous first Shenzhen Team Maths!!(https://t.co/jkM7GgfAzG)
13 teams from 4 schools came to Harrow International School Shenzhen to pit their wits in 4 rounds of gruelling questions! Firstly was the group round, an opportunity of warming up the brain with 10 questions. Following on, the relay, the shuttle and the crossnumber.
It was great to see the team work and tactics used by each team!!
Followed by the “Heroes of Maths and Music” by @mcmathscomm, HoD Maths at Harrow Shenzhen; looking at the role Pythagoras had in the birth of music, and the Topology of Bach’s Puzzle Canons.
Huge congratulations to SWIS for winning the overall competition, to HIS Shenzhen for an overall 3rd place and a huge shout out to the Maths Team at Harrow Shenzhen for their outstanding event running and tech support.
