SPD is attempting to locate the owner of a multi-colored (brown/tan/black with white belly) long-haired cat. The cat was located on South Main Street on 12-01-23. If you have information on the cat, please call SPD/ACO @ 508-653-2424.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE ADVISORY 🚧

Washington St from Old Orchard Rd to Maple St will be closed tomorrow (8/23) at 7:00am while crews work throughout the morning and early afternoon. Detour signs will be up, and officers will be posted at each end of the closure. Check back later!

N. Main St. from Elliot St. to Coolidge St., as well as Coolidge St from Prospect St. to N. Main St. is closed to through traffic due to a hazardous tree. Crews are currently working on scene to remove the tree before it causes more damage.

Crews are currently working on the southbound lane in the area of 44 South Main Street to repair a sinkhole and locate its source. If possible, please avoid the area and expect traffic delays during busier travel times.

One of our local teenage mutant 🥷 ninja 🐢 turtles left the sewers and wandered into the roadway! Fortunately, a few good 🏃‍♀️🏃samaritans 🤳 notified us and we were able to assist Donatello with crossing the street!
