@PPAGGhana Young people leading organizations can also leverage on collaborative partnerships to present stronger and strategic fronts when engaging in intergenerational dialogues to advance advocacy for SRHR commitments
@PPAGGhana Love Esenam’s submission on the strategic dialogues especially on progress dissemination.. one of the many ways young people can take charge is to simplify complex progress report (in collaboration with project partners) into bite sized data for easy access for young people.
"It's haram to shake a woman's hand because I respect women, but I'm allowed to secretly marry another woman without telling my wife as long as I have two witnesses for the marriage contract." - A morally bankrupt imam
How can you trust a religious teacher who secretly marries multiple women, deceives the mother of his children, and claims its allowed in Islam because some scholars said it's "technically" permissible to marry again without informing the first wife?! And then he asks the women to fraudently seek government benefits as a single mother because he's doesn't want to work - "there's too much fitnah (temptation)!"
Knowledge without morals is worthless.

@amnestyghana Interesting point on th sanitary tax; question we should also be asking is can local manufacturers serve the menstrual needs of the women and girls in the country??? How does this reduction policy translate in practice (at the grassroots)? And who is at the center of this policy?
@amnestyghana Menstrual dignity is political. Until we all see menstrual dignity as a basic human right, we will continue with this rhetoric of who should do what and who should be blamed.
e.g how many girls can afford pads and how much knowledge do girls have on how the pads are made.
@amnestyghana It is time for us to internally generate resources to support menstrual health education.
By collaborating with private sector players, organizations and groups can mobilize support especially for girls in hard to reach areas.

@amnestyghana Dignity also means access to clean water, reduced costs of sanitary materials, Clean Wash rooms within institutions, free menstrual hygiene materials in schools etc.
