Hey educator, THIS is THAT season that I remember all too well. This is not the time to contemplate other options. This is the time to embrace your "why"...your PURPOSE for doing this work in the first place. This season too shall pass.
I don’t understand why giving kids the opportunity to try, get feedback, and try again during football practice is considered good coaching, but giving kids a chance to try, get feedback, and retest in an academic course is enabling? #AmImissingsomething?
Top teachers were the *most* likely to seek advice from their peers. The better the teacher performed, the more likely they were to obtain feedback on how to be even better.
Asking for advice & feedback is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Custodians are some of the most underrecognized, underappreciated, and underrated members of our school community. The shine on the floor reflects the pride they put into the jobs. Thank you to all those custodians out there for making schools a special place for kids!
@oostburgschools Deb, thank you for all of your dedicated years of service to the students of OES. You’re an amazing educator and impacted the lives of so many!
