میں ریاستی اداروں پر واضح کر دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ ہم اپنی بہن کے لیے ہر آئینی و سیاسی جنگ لڑیں گے اور کسی بھی طرح خاموشی اختیار نہیں کریں گے۔

Her arrest is not just a matter of law enforcement—it is an attack on the very principles of justice and human rights that I hold sacred.

I have watched in awe as Mahrang Baloch accomplished what many thought impossible: mobilizing a powerful, peaceful movement against systemic human rights violations in one of the most challenging environments imaginable. In a region where patriarchal structures have historically silenced women's voices, I have seen her rise as a formidable force for change, inspiring millions to stand for justice without resorting to violence. Her courage resonates deeply with my own commitment to peaceful resistance.

I am profoundly troubled that Pakistani authorities have arrested Mahrang and held her incommunicado. By denying her access to legal counsel, I believe they are violating both Pakistani law and international human rights standards. I see this not as legitimate law enforcement but as intimidation designed to crush a movement that dares to speak truth to power. I cannot and will not stay silent.

I unequivocally call on the Government of Pakistan to:

1. IMMEDIATELY reveal Mahrang Baloch's whereabouts and condition
2. GRANT her immediate and unrestricted access to legal representation
3. RELEASE her unconditionally and without delay
4. CEASE all harassment and intimidation of peaceful activists in Balochistan

I am convinced that this detention will not silence Mahrang's vision- it will only amplify it. Her courage has already inspired a movement that transcends borders, including my own advocacy. I join the international community in holding Pakistani authorities accountable for this blatant attempt to suppress peaceful advocacy.

The people of Balochistan have long suffered at the hands of state-sponsored Sardars and death squads. These nefarious entities have systematically destabilized the region, perpetrating heinous crimes that have become all too familiar: enforced disappearances, blackmailing and drug trafficking are the prime.

The latest incident involving Asma Jattak's kidnapping and blackmailing of her family has sent shockwaves throughout the region. While state’s direct hands towards their established local militias or death squads, that too under the supervision of local parliamentarians, further exposes that state and its locally-hired squads have contributed enough in anti-Baloch and anti-humanitarian norms like abducting women.

This horrific event has exposed the grim reality that even Baloch women are not safe within the confines of their own homes. The people of Balochistan have faced decades of oppression, with state-sponsored terrorism perpetuating a culture of fear and silence. Further silence means inviting further barbarism on ourselves.

بلوچ قومی اجتماع کا آغاز بلوچ قومی ترانے سے ہوا۔ اجتماع میں بلوچستان کے مختلف ریجنز میں بلوچ نسل کشی سے متعلق رپورٹس پیش کی گئیں۔ ریاست کی جانب سے اس اجتماع کو ناکام بنانے کے لیے گزشتہ تین دن سے انٹرنیٹ سروسز بند کر دی گئی تھیں۔ آج صبح موبائل نیٹ ورک سمیت پی ٹی سی ایل سروسز کو بھی معطل کر کے مکمل بلیک آؤٹ کر دیا گیا۔ اس کے علاوہ، پورے رخشان ریجن میں ہزاروں کی تعداد میں ریاستی فوج تعینات کی گئی، جبکہ دالبندین اور پورے چاغی میں لوگوں کو مختلف طریقوں سے ہراساں کیا گیا اور دھمکیاں دی گئیں۔ لیکن تمام تر منفی ہتھکنڈوں کے باجود بلوچستان بھر سے قافلوں کی صورت میں دسیوں ہزار لوگوں کی شرکت ریاست کی بلوچ نسل کشی پالیسی کے خلاف بلوچ قومی ریفرینڈم تھا اور بلوچ قومی اتحاد و یکجہتی کا تاریخی مثال قائم کردیا۔
