When it comes to trade, the voices & expertise of farmers & workers are central to making fair decisions. Yet their voices often go unheard, with their interests not represented globally. Fairtrade now launches a new ambassador program to better equip them in taking a stand.
New strategy + policy launched by the Gov of Belize to tackle #ChildLabour a has gone into effect this month following extended dialogue with national stakeholders, cooperatives, and #SocialJustice organizations, including Fairtrade.

Today, #Fairtrade#Belize#Sugar Cane Farmer Assocation formerly launched its #Youth Inclusive Policy & Framework of Action. The event was attended by Ministries of Agriculture, Youth, Labour, & Human Development, including the Ambassador of Guatemala & a rep from the US Embassy
