@AishwaryakiRai In the quality of life index of 89 countries, Japan ranks at 17 and India at 63.
Have you ever been to Japan? When people have a seamless life, adjusting is easier.
But when you are being crushed from every direction (high taxes/corruption/crumbling infra) - it’s not the same.
@aravind The language & approach are vastly different. Singapore is tackling it from a position of strength. India is hoping & praying because this govt hasn’t made one decent financial policy in the last 5 years. This crisis has only exposed all the superficial bandaid work they did.
@Mohansinha INR started crashing after the war? Massive FII outflows started after the war? Energy imports dependence increased only after the war? The issue isn’t the crisis; it’s that we are fighting it from a position of weakness because of retarded policymaking. So please, quit the BS.
@ShachiGambhir How should I look beyond garbage everywhere, zero civic sense, non-existent tourism infrastructure, scams at every corner, noise/physical overstimulation & constant micro-friction?
One trip abroad & this scam of a country gets exposed.
@TheRubric_Medic INR started crashing after the war? Massive FII outflows started after the war? Energy imports dependence increased only after the war? The issue isn’t the crisis; it’s that we are fighting it from a position of weakness because of retarded policymaking. So please, quit the BS.
@aviralbhat Fundamentally disagree! There are massive structural issues and positive markets successfully hid them all this while. One crisis and we are being exposed raw.
Also, the AI risk is not overblown. AI is fundamentally dangerous to a service-oriented economy like ours.
@frontierindica@nsitharaman in a country where only 2.2% “pays” income tax, this govt has shown zero respect to the honest taxpayer.
Not a single policy exists to relieve our burden. I work 5 months a year for the government (taxes) and the other 7 for myself - I still get NOTHING in return.
@narendramodi@AmitShah I am a nobody & even I saw the forex crisis coming - massive FII outflows, increased oil imports, strong US economy (AI boom), attractive US10Y yield, Japan effect & trade current account deficit. The war just brought the crisis sooner.
No more excuses - the FM needs to resign.
@mon718891669803@vijaythirumalai Our 1945 equivalent was 1947. Look where we are today and where they are.
The Japanese/Germans call out policy-makers & have a spine whereas our people will sell their souls for freebies (only 6% pays direct taxes btw).
Acknowledge there is a problem. Don’t be delusional.
@Swiggy@dominos I placed a bolt order on dominos via Swiggy an hour ago and i am still waiting. Despite being a BLCK member, I’ve received zero support & the store owner hasn’t picked up any of my 10 calls. I am going to be filing an official complaint. Order: 236206621331550
@RishiJoeSanu@JioHotstar TL;DR No money to make.
Based on news from media groups, FIFA demanded around 70-100 million USD for the rights which would make no sense to indian broadcasters for 2 primary reasons -
1. Most matches are between midnight - 5AM.
2. Low viewership = low advertising interest.
@chiragbarjatya Unless there is pain/rot from impacting wisdom, please don’t touch it.
There is going to be some degree of oral paresthesia irrespective.
