Just after 130am this morning multiple fire crews responded to the 300 block of Grey Street for reported structure fire. Upon arrival cruiser met with heavy smoke and fire. Firefighters did an offensive attack until command, pulled them out due to deteriorating conditions of the building. Firefighters continued on a defensive aerial operation attack. #ldnont ^cs
Fire crews made quick work of a vehicle fire inside a repair shop at Adelaide @ King at 9am this morning. Damage pegged at $50,000, not suspicious. Crews are clearing. #ldnont ^cs
Captain Hunter was presented with the Canadian flag from Deputy Chief Hayes. This flag was the one that was flown over station 2 on Captain Hunters last shift of duty.
At 0745 this morning, Captain Bob Hunter retired after 31 years of dedicated service to the London Fire Department. The LPFFA with the LFD have started a new tradition honouring our retiring members with a walk-out ceremony. Congratulations Bob, and all the best in retirement!

Fire is under control, call came in at 10:49pm from multiple 911 calls in west end. Great job by CPR train crew to disconnect locomotives. Excellent job by fire crews to contain fire was a very efficient knockdown of a large fire. #ldnont ^cs
Thanks to multiple 911 callers that advised our Communication Operations of an eastbound train on fire going over Oxford St. We were able to get on scene & contain the fire in the downtown area very quickly with limited damage and no injuries. Great job by Fire COMMs. #ldnont ^cs
