A High Alert has been activated for 9-year-old Brandon Manahan of Summer Hill district, Browns Town in St. Ann, who has been missing since Thursday, December 04.

He is of brown complexion, slim build and about 122 centimeters (4 feet) tall.

Reports from the Browns Town Police are that at about 8:00 a.m., Brandon was last seen at home. His mode of dress is unknown. He has not been heard from since.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Brandon Manahan is asked to contact the Browns Town Police at [phone], the police emergency 119 number or the nearest police station.

The death toll in Jamaica from the passage of Hurricane Melissa on October 28 now stands at 45, Information Minister Dr Dana Morris Dixon has informed. She said the number represents deaths that have been confirmed by the police as being related to the hurricane.

@myJPSonline lights been flickering everyday & I thought maybe it was building damage, but staff at my office said office getting the same flickering at the same times (they are in a different area). We both lost power at same time this morning. Theirs returned, mine still out

I dont have electricity, but being on a hill, I can see so many communities with electricity. I have to express immense gratitude to @myJPSonline for their hard work. They have done so much more than we expected.

Here i was thinking it was an area outage @myJPSonline but instead it seems to be only our apartment complex- because all the street lights on and neighbours have theirs. No idea if the little wind knock down something or what could cause this
