Conviction secured: In Burtolla Police Station Case No. 191/2024 registered on 30th November, 2024 under POCSO Act over an incident of sexual assault on a baby. A charge-sheet was filed within 30 days after swift investigation. The accused Rajib Ghosh has been convicted by Ld. Exclusive (POCSO) Court, Calcutta and the accused has been sentenced to be hanged till death. Victim has been awarded a compensation of ₹10 lakhs.

দোষী সাব্যস্ত: ৩০ নভেম্বর,২০২৪ তারিখে বটতলা থানায় পকসো আইনের অধীনে শিশুর ওপর যৌন নির্যাতনের ঘটনায় অভিযুক্ত অপরাধীর অপরাধ প্রমাণিত হয়েছে। এই কেসের দ্রুত তদন্তের পর ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে চার্জশিট দাখিল করা হয়। অভিযুক্ত রাজীব ঘোষকে সম্মানীয় এক্সক্লুসিভ (পসকো) আদালত, কলকাতা, দোষী সাব্যস্ত করেছেন এবং আসামীকে মৃত্যুদণ্ডে দণ্ডিত করা হয়েছে এবং ভিকটিমকে ১০ লক্ষ টাকা ক্ষতিপূরণ দেওয়া হয়েছে।। ঘটনাটি বটতলা থানার, কেস নম্বর ১৯১/২০২৪।

Three persons have been arrested in Ballygunge PS (South East Division) Case No. 09/2025. The accused had lured a victim into buying raw gold at a very low price and later conducted a fake customs raid to take away ₹35 lakh. An amount of ₹23,47,500 has so far been recovered. The vehicle used in crime has also been seized. Investigation continues.

বালিগঞ্জ থানা (দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব ডিভিশন) কেস নং ০৯/২০২৫-এ তিনজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। অভিযুক্তরা একজন ব্যক্তিকে কম দামে কাঁচা সোনা কেনার প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে প্রতারণা করে এবং পরে কাস্টমস অফিসার হিসাবে পরিচয় দিয়ে ভুয়ো অভিযান চালিয়ে ৩৫ লক্ষ টাকা লুঠ করেছিল। এ পর্যন্ত ২৩,৪৭,৫০০ টাকা উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। অপরাধে ব্যবহৃত গাড়িটিও বাজেয়াপ্ত করা হয়েছে। তদন্ত চলছে।
