If social media posts of Judge Hamayoun Dilawar are authentic (Tosha Khana Case Judge), this is alarming and raises serious and reasonable doubts on credibility of trial being conducted by him. In my view, propriety demands that he should immediately recuse or disassociate himself from the case. It needs to be noted that Seven Member Bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Malik Qayyum Case (reported in 2001 PLD SC 568) held that bias on part of the judge vitiates judicial proceedings. The court further held that an accused has a right of a fair trial by a judicial minded person, not by someone functioning under an influence or bias as the same paralyses his judicial faculties to conduct fair trial. Bias would vitiate judicial proceedings if such circumstances exist. Bias robs the judge of the confidence that a litigant may have in the judge. Court further held that bias is mental disposition or attitude towards a particular person and covers all kind of hostilities and prejudices against him.

Now that Dr Yasmin is pronounced innocent in the arson at Lahore CC house, it means that as the President of Central Punjab, PTI as a party had no hand in the arson.

So the whole crackdown on PTI was on the pretext that the party had planned the violence.

Dollar selling at Rs 310 in the open market and there's record backbreaking inflation in the country right now.
While our debt is accumulating at the fastest rate ever, the economy is shrinking.
All our annual tax revenue collections do not even cover the interest that we have to pay on our loans.

While the country's economy is crashing right before our eyes, all this fascist govt is thinking of, are more coercive and oppressive measures to crush PTI.

And of course to the PDM leadership this historic devaluation of the rupee doesn't matter because all their ill-gotten wealth is stashed abroad in dollars.
It will be the people of Pakistan who will experience inflation and poverty while PDM leaders will be beneficiaries of this fall in rupee.

اوپن مارکیٹ میں ڈالر 310 روپے میں فروخت ہورہا ہے اور ملک آج کل ریکارڈ کمر توڑ مہنگائی کےچُنگل میں ہے۔

قرضوں کے حجم میں نہایت تیزی سے اضافہ ہورہا ہے جبکہ معیشت اسی تیزی سے سکڑ رہی ہے۔

ہماری مجموعی سالانہ آمدن تو اس سود کیلئے بھی ناکافی ہے جسے ہمیں اپنے قرضوں پر ادا کرنا ہے۔

ایسے میں جب معیشت ہماری نگاہوں کے سامنے بکھر رہی ہے، قوم پر مسلط فسطائی حکومت تحریک انصاف کو کچلنے کیلئے جبر و ستم کے نت نئے طریقوں کی ایجاد میں لگی ہوئی ہے۔

پی ڈی ایم قیادت کو روپے کی قدر میں اس تاریخی گراوٹ سے یقیناً کچھ فرق نہیں پڑتا کیونکہ ناجائز طریقوں سےجمع کی گئی انکی ساری دولت ڈالروں کیصورت میں بیرون ملک چھپائی گئی ہے۔ پی ڈی ایم قائدین کیلئے تو روپے کی قدر میں گراوٹ سود مند (منافع بخش) ہے جبکہ پاکستان کے عوام غربت اور مہنگائی کے بوجھ تلے کُچلے جائیں گے۔
