@undercovermudma @WWMurawski @vanessa91024 It's hard to approach a teacher to discuss strengths and identify weaknesses. However, if the goal is understood, then knowing weaknesses just means there are other things we can do to do our part in the co-teaching relationship. Nike says "Just Do It!"

@undercovermudma @WWMurawski @vanessa91024 We learned procedures that we can follow to start the beginning of co-teaching. Discussing goals of co-teaching, sharing honest opinions (i.e. like how you felt as a good aide), and planning how to use each others strengths will help you.

@NerdTeacher_Lyd @vanessa91024 @WWMurawski I've learned many meanings of collaborative. It means we have to take and give in our relationship in order to achieve student success. I think the 'What/How/Who Approach' will be one of the guides I will follow so that I stay on course.

@momtupou1 I helped support one of my nephews for the LA Marathon. Chaperoning 5, 10, 15, and 20 mile weekend runs...capturing training via camera....preparing meals/snacks after runs...rode bike throughout actual marathon for pictures and updates to family and friends.

@barbara_karplus That is a great idea....we, as teachers, are always seeking new and other ways to teach our lessons. There is a saying which I will butcher here....'Teachers are constantly stealing ideas from one another.'

@xdawg1991 @WWMurawski @Vanessa90210 Similar to marriage, responsibilities are separated 'spiritually' as in nothing can be split exactly in middle so there is understanding that one is better at certain things and the other in other areas. Isn't this what StrengthFinder & discussions emphasize.
