@wwmurawski, @vanessa91024 #SPED638. I write this while in the back of one of my classes. Here I am a sped teacher only. I’m in the back of the room with my students. When we get the assignment I work to get my students through it. Here I’m little more than a really good aide.

So far there have been two that I consider really good friends and partners. I am also fortunate to have an absolutely dynamite middle school sped partner.

Everyone wants to be in charge, to teach university track, few are ready to be cooperative and work with needs. To many teachers want to teach and believe; it’s the students job to learn. My job is to help introduce the teacher to my student

One of the advantages/problems here is: I do try to negotiate but. I am retired and back to work because of boredom. I am; sped,regular ed, administrator, back to sped because it’s what people need.

@WWMurawski You may have missed an earlier discussion. I’m in a couple of classrooms where I’m an equal partnership. We work well together. One where the relationship is strained. My last tweet referred to the strained class. I believe I will work my way in but I don’t force it.
