It’s your favorite time of year again! Shimer Summer Book Club is back in business and open to everyone! This summer, we will be reading Octavia Butler’s “Parable of the Sower”. Send us a note if you’re interested in joining us, and keep an eye out for discussion dates.
Congrats to our Shimer Humanities grad, Zandra Huston, who will spend part of her summer studying in Greece! We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! (Her diploma was in the car, so Chaucer stepped in.)
Hey, Shimer. It’s been a minute. Our students are working hard on their final exams and soon Shimer’s offices will be on the move! Catch us starting this summer in Anderson House on the NCC campus, sipping coffee and reading on this wicked-good front porch.
