here's a recent L of mine

channel got very slow traction, but saw big potential

usually i drop channels after 10 days of daily uploads and slow traction

decided to push this channel anyway

monetized it after almost 2 months of slow progress

views dropped the second it hit 1k subs

connected it to a bad adsense on top (didn't know it was bad until then)

went from 15-20k realtime views to 4k

now every new upload flopped (10/10s in a row) - completely useless for my portfolio....

don't marry a channel, sometimes very slow channels result in even more headaches if you don't drop them straight away.

i got punished in the end.

but who cares. yt is a game of volume.

start more. fail more. learn more. win more.

My mentee Leo is the perfect example that working hard will not make you successful in faceless youtube.

He hustled day&night, started many niches at once, but all channels were lacking either quality or proper market research and made barely ANY views.

We restructured his whole approach in the past days, (high trust score setup, warmup strategy, approach angles, niche analysis,…)

and now he's ready to monetize some cute 4fig/mo channels before Q4.

If you‘re at the start, it's better to focus on 1 project, give your absolute best, and either succeed or try to find as many learnings as possible - which you apply to your next channel.

It's impossible to fail like this. Unless you quit.

Anyway, the fun season for every youtuber starts soon. ⏳
