We turn existing restaurant cameras into a real-time operations layer, giving every restaurant the equivalent of five great general managers.

Staff see when guests are ready to order/pay, when tables need clearing, and how to seat parties based on live server workloads. Unlike traditional restaurant software that only records transactions, Shire understands what’s happening on the floor and helps restaurants act on it in real time.

We left Duke and Clemson after years of working in restaurants and building AI systems, and now Shire is live in 13 restaurants, reducing table turn times by 12% and helping save an average of $31,000 per restaurant annually. We are building a new generation of restaurant software that helps operators run more efficient, profitable businesses using the cameras they already have.

Restaurant software has a crucial gap. There's no way for a software to know the floor, without seeing the floor. That's what Shire is built on.

Shire is for restaurants who can't have eyes on every table. When guests are getting ignored and servers are double sat, a half-informed software creates more problems than it solves.

Using cameras to detect if guests need the check, haven't gotten their food, or if a server has checked on them gives managers everything they need to know in the moment. Combined with a POS that gives realtime updates to servers about their tables, guests always walk out satisfied.

Mediocre food usually isn't a kitchen problem. It's how the restaurant is run. When a rush hits, the staff get stretched too thin to give any table real attention, and the meal you're paying for suffers.

That's exactly what we built Shire to fix. When the team isn't overwhelmed, every table gets the attention it should.

Is it just me or is the restaurant industry just getting worse & worse??

Every time my gf and I go out to eat it's always at least a $200 bill & the food is rarely better than mediocre...

Turn tables 28% faster. No new seats. No new tools. No one touching a tablet.

Just the cameras you already have, reading your floor in real time.
That's Shire, and we finally get to show you.
