FLASH: The Kenyan parliament has just ERUPTED IN FLAMES as protests against the $2.7 BILLION TAX HIKE turn violent.
The hikes were spurred by Kenya's latest IMF DEAL.
As Harvard Prof. Robert Barro puts it, "THE IMF DOESN'T PUT OUT FIRES, IT STARTS THEM."

Ole Lenku vs Katoo Ole Metito: The battle for Kajiado’s soul
In recent times, Kajiado County has experienced a notable surge in development.
However, this promising trend seems to have taken a troubling turn since Katoo Ole Metito assumed his position as the State House Comptroller.
Information from reliable sources has revealed that Katoo has been frequently traversing the county on both weekends and weekdays to attend various events.
These gatherings provide him with a platform to potentially incite clans against the current Governor, Lenku.
Whispers on the ground suggest that Katoo's presence at these functions is a reflection of being sent by President William Ruto to sow division within the Maasai community, despite the President's expressed desire for unity among the Maasai people.
One question that inevitably arises is: where does Katoo obtain his resources?
Our confidential informants claim that Katoo has taken to inviting businesspeople to his office at State House where he allegedly pressures them for a 10% share of non-existent contracts.
Unfortunately, many unsuspecting and sincere contractors, upon arrival, part with their money.
This unscrupulous practice appears to fuel his ability to fund demonstrations within the county.
The perplexing aspect of this situation is the apparent vendetta against Governor Lenku, who is currently in his second term and on his way out of office.
Why is there a concerted effort to tarnish his image under the pretext of fighting corruption?
There are indications of the misuse of state resources in opposition to the very government Katoo is part of.
Woman Rep Hon Leah Sankaire has also been implicated in this fiasco.
Katoo also appears to be using Sankaire, as a means to distribute money and disrupt the operations of Kajiado County.
The Head of Public Service must intervene and address this situation by potentially redirecting Katoo's focus to the responsibilities entrusted to him by Ruto.
The Maasai community is currently celebrating the return of Amboseli to the county, a promise made during UDA campaigns.
Governor Lenku is perceived as the driving force behind this unity, which may be causing discomfort to Katoo.
Reliable information indicates that the aforementioned contractor is now in a desperate search for Katoo, as the promised contract appears to be nothing more than empty promises and hot air.
Stay tuned for what could be an eventful "Season Two" of this unfolding drama.
