@Mike_kim714 Apart from the obvious Cantlay, Hovland, Hatton, Henley, Abergs what current player will astound you if they never win a Grand Slam event?
@Pmichaelracing How amusing. There are lads on X claiming Moore had a shocker in this race and you're trying to give the same slant on Buick? Any of the other runners get a good steer from their pilots? Asking for a friend!
@gregallenRTE@GolfIreland_ Greg any such changes are welcome but in every club, there is a cohort that can't beat 100 strokes 16 times out of 20 playing casually but can beat 80 in competition in the other 4. There is a word for that but the WHS allows it. No % application will ever affect such players.
@geoffbanksbet They're all heart. Roughly 3/1, 17/5 and 100/30 to win bar the players, the 3 most competitive fields of the year. By a player who is nearly 20 years in the upper echelons of the sport. A fantastic player but hardly improving at this stage. Proper bookies a thing of the past.
@GABBITAS66@RacingPost@Ladbrokes This is the most sensible question asked. If they decide not to pay out on these two horses, they're unlikely to chase anyone who backed the second horses. Therefore every bet in each race becomes a loser. How fair.
@gregallenRTE@gregallenRTE the amusing part of this article is the "small number" being referred to. If we say the small number is 3/4 %, in a field of 200 for a weekend comp, there will be typically between 6 and 8 of such competitors. There will generally be 6 to 8 prizes. Others=pointless!
