@Calvinkje4@RealFLGunLobby@TheFLGOP what if you're outnumbered? we'll find out in November. Until then, we're both complaining. So, like me, keep whining
Boomers: “Why don’t Millennials have any generational wealth to pass down?”
Also Boomers: Spent decades voting against unions, backing pension cuts, and supporting policies that shifted trillions of dollars upward while wages barely kept pace with the cost of living.
Also Boomers: “You kids just don’t save like we did.”
Also also Boomers: “Have you tried making a budget?”
Right.
Because the problem clearly isn’t housing prices, healthcare costs, student debt, or stagnant wages.
It’s that someone buying $4 coffee a few times a week hasn’t unlocked the secret to building wealth in an economy where assets rose faster than paychecks for decades.
@felts_ricky I'll take more local control and participation. The community should have some form of veto power or say. Not just education, but all local public expenditures. I'd say the same for the state, but it's too centralized and unrealistic for communities atm.
@John_Henry_NC Damn, I was hoping you'd say something like it's "READ" and then I'd say something like "Oh so you CAN read, go read the bill" but I suppose Pakistani bot humor is lost here. Carry one spreading misinformation, soldier
@realFishchaser@MaryEllenKlas Also, to be fair to you, when we have people like you attending budget hearings, I guess you're right: we might as well give up representation if all we have are village idiots showing up
@realFishchaser@MaryEllenKlas Oh, how many I've gone to? The same magical number you've gone to: "many" since your answer was SO informative 🤣🤣 try harder
@RealFLGunLobby@TheFLGOP Oh shit, you right. It's buried right after the assumption that what they did is wrong/out of line. In other words, you want to hold them accountable. I will amend it, because you are correct: why don't you suspend judgement and ask them why before deciding they're wrong?
@millennialobsrv@AnejoJd More than 50%, the state's operating budget is at $150million (https://t.co/TxFAKdXxim), closer to 70 percent increase compared to 2018/19. They pretend costs aren't up and thrive because people don't actually look into their bullshit.
It never, ever, despite what billionaires and politicians tell you, trickles down.
Tax breaks for the wealthy will create jobs was always a scam to transfer wealth away from the working class, upwards to the super-wealthy.
They lied to you.
