They keep talking.
They haven't faced this. They haven't faced that. Well here they are. This is who they are.
Such a journey this has been all these years 😭
Again! Wouldn't have mattered if they went out. What a team ❤️
Even if you went out today my love and respect for this team wouldn't have wavered. I just thank you for these performances. I hope someday my country play like this. Absolute Champions mentality. @Argentina
Something about Ronaldo this campaign is eerily similar with messi last time. People baying for his blood. Team underperforming in the first match. I wish he too would go on to win the world cup like messi. He's too good of a player to end up without winning one. #fifa
🗣️📌I’ve literally never seen a club with luck this bad in the Champions League like Barcelona!
I mean, from the 20th minute, Barcelona were completely dominating Atlético Madrid, controlling the game and raising the tempo. Marcus Rashford missed two big chances and it felt like the goal was coming… then out of nowhere, Julián Álvarez creates a one-on-one for Giuliano Simeone, and Pau Cubarsí, while chasing him, clips his leg and gets sent off because the rules say so!
And it’s not just a red card—Álvarez even scores from that free kick! So you go from a team about to score… to a team losing, down to 10 men, and heading out. It’s like a script written specifically against Barcelona!
It doesn’t stop there—Pedri goes off, Robert Lewandowski goes off, Fermín López comes on and plays as a winger, Rashford plays as a striker—so you end up with neither a proper striker nor winger, and Lamine Yamal is basically carrying the attack alone.
Despite that, Rashford misses a one-on-one that should never be missed, then hits the bar from a free kick… only for Atlético to come back and score a second goal. Barcelona lose in a scenario that’s almost an exact copy of the Barcelona vs PSG 2024 game.
Ronald Araújo sent off vs PSG, Cubarsí sent off vs Benfica, Araújo sent off vs Chelsea, Cubarsí sent off vs Atlético… Barcelona’s relationship with the Champions League is literally toxic.
There is a mythology the U.S. built around the American War in Vietnam. It goes like this:
Young idealistic soldiers were sent into an unwinnable situation by confused politicians.
They came home broken and unappreciated.
It was a tragedy. A mistake. A lesson learned.
Notice what that story does.
It centers Americans.
Their trauma. Their confusion. Their homecoming. Their feelings.
In this story, the Vietnamese people are a backdrop.
A jungle. An obstacle. An abstraction.
Three million dead Vietnamese people are the scenery for a story about American self-discovery.
They made hundreds of movies about Vietnam.
The Deer Hunter. Apocalypse Now. Platoon. Full Metal Jacket. Born on the Fourth of July. Hamburger Hill.
Count how many of them center a Vietnamese character with a full human life, a family, a name you remember after the credits roll.
They turned our genocide into their coming-of-age story.
They lost the war and still managed to make themselves the main character.
And then, with extraordinary arrogance, they put their soldiers' names on a wall in Washington and call it a memorial, as if the dead to be mourned were the people who flew 10,000 miles to do the killing.
Where is the wall for our three million?
There isn't one.
Because in their telling, we were never quite real enough to mourn.

Our CAPF officers guard the nation’s borders — but who’s guarding their careers? 14 years, no promotion. Something’s broken.

The problem with takes like this is that it is shallow - basically a template-level analysis passed off as insight.
There’s a familiar pattern: invoke “discipline”, warn against “disruption”, suggest cosmetic parity - while completely sidestepping the core issue of structural imbalance and leadership legitimacy in CAPFs.
This is not serious analysis, but merely a surface-level commentary.
The “serve in state police for parity” line is particularly misplaced.
Parity isn’t about swapping postings.
It is about functional equivalence.
Border guarding, counter-insurgency, long-duration deployments ≠ civil policing and local law & order.
Reducing that distinction is not nuance - it is misunderstanding the domain.
Also worth asking:
When every structural concern is dismissed as indiscipline, and every reform argument as impractical, while the status quo clearly benefits one ecosystem.
Is this really an independent view? Or just a repackaged talking point?
Because right now, this reads less like informed opinion and more like generic output lacking depth or first-hand understanding.
India’s security debate deserves better than copy-paste narratives!
