I said we shouldn’t get rid of it completely but he was assuming i was and then i said we should just make it harder to access so citizens that want to be armed still can but deters people who are looking for a quick tool of violence

So how do you ensure that you fight this problem without relying on “honest” judges? My solution: tightening access to guns

Again, you guys are the ones supporting the side that is loosening them up. If you are in favor of heavier vetting, you would be supporting democratic policy around gun control, not republican

@DonaldJack123 @45acpcomp @officer_Lew And the original post was shitting on dems but at the heart of it, they are the only ones in favor of tightening up those restrictions. Whereas red side has only gone to roll back restrictions or keep it as is, which isnt working

Yes mental checks and qualifications are part of that, so I would even say we are on the same page there. But republicans dont fight for stricter rules to own a gun, they loosen them
