Ma’am, it is long past time to be honest with the American people. On January 3, I requested National Guard assistance, but your Sergeant at Arms denied it. Under federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), I was prohibited from calling them in without specific approval. That same day, Carol Corbin at the Pentagon offered National Guard support, but I was forced to decline because I lacked the legal authority.

On January 6, while the Capitol was under attack and despite my repeated calls, your Sergeant at Arms again denied my urgent requests for over 70 agonizing minutes, “running it up the chain” for your approval.

When I needed assistance, it was denied. Yet when it suited you, you ordered fencing topped with concertina wire and surrounded the Capitol with thousands of armed National Guard troops.

JENNIFER GRIFFIN CAUGHT LYING ABOUT DEFENSE SECRETARY PETE HEGSETH—HER LATEST SMEAR JOB JUST BLEW UP IN HER FACE!

Jennifer Griffin, the Deep State’s favorite propagandist, just humiliated herself again. This time, she attempted to smear Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the cost of routine military housing repairs—and she got obliterated by the facts.

Here’s what really happened: The Army undertook more than $137,000 in repairs to the historic residence at Fort McNair that will serve as Secretary Hegseth’s official home. The repairs—including $50,000 in new paint—were not requested by Hegseth. The Army made the decision to conduct these upgrades because the home had been vacant for a year and needed standard security improvements for the sixth person in the presidential line of succession.

Yet @JenGriffinFNC, in her trademark dishonest style, twisted the truth to manufacture a scandal that doesn’t exist. She deliberately omitted that these types of repairs are routine, that they were handled by the Army without Hegseth’s involvement, and that similar security upgrades were made when Secretary of State Mike Pompeo lived in military housing.

Why? Because Griffin isn’t a journalist—she’s an attack dog for the establishment.

GRIFFIN’S FAMILY TIES TO THE BIDEN REGIME

Jennifer Griffin’s conflicts of interest are so egregious they would disqualify any real journalist from covering the Pentagon. Her husband, Greg Myre, is a national security correspondent for NPR—one of the most blatantly biased, taxpayer-funded anti-Trump propaganda mills in the country.

Even worse, her daughter, Annalise Myre, worked directly in Biden’s White House in the Office of Cabinet Affairs. This means Griffin’s family has been deeply embedded in the very administration that Hegseth is working to clean up.

So let’s be clear: Griffin is not an impartial reporter. She has every incentive to run cover for Democrats while fabricating scandals to take down their political enemies.

A HISTORY OF DECEPTION

This latest smear against Pete Hegseth is not an isolated case—it’s a pattern of dishonesty from Jennifer Griffin. Let’s take a look at her greatest hits of fake news:

▶️ She championed the Russia Collusion hoax—one of the biggest political frauds in modern history.

▶️ She spread the debunked “Trump called dead soldiers losers” lie—a story proven false by over a dozen on-the-record sources.

▶️ She trashed Tucker Carlson for exposing wokeness in the military—while defending the corrupt, incompetent Pentagon leadership running it into the ground.

▶️ She excused Biden’s catastrophic Afghanistan withdrawal—only turning against it when public outrage became too big to ignore.

▶️ She defended General Mark Milley’s secret calls to Communist China—despite overwhelming evidence of his insubordination against President Trump.

Every single time, Griffin has chosen lies over truth, the establishment over the people, and the corrupt status quo over real accountability.

THE REAL SCANDAL: DEMOCRAT HYPOCRISY

Of course, while Griffin fabricates outrage over routine military housing repairs, she conveniently ignores the actual crisis in military housing. Across the country, enlisted service members are living in rodent-infested barracks with black mold and broken infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, one of the loudest voices pretending to be “concerned” about Hegseth’s housing, had nothing to say when Lloyd Austin, Hegseth’s predecessor, refused to live on base and instead purchased a private residence with zero transparency about his own taxpayer-funded expenses.

If Wasserman Schultz and her fellow Democrats actually cared about military families, they’d be fighting for better living conditions for soldiers instead of staging phony outrage over standard maintenance on a historic home.

JENNIFER GRIFFIN IS A FRAUD—AND SHE JUST GOT EXPOSED

This is not journalism. This is a political operation. Jennifer Griffin doesn’t report the news—she manufactures propaganda. She doesn’t investigate scandals—she invents them. She doesn’t hold the powerful accountable—she protects them.
