Statement zum gescheiterten Transfer zu AS Rom

Ich bin enttäuscht und verärgert über den Verlauf der vergangenen Tage und den gescheiterten Transfer zum AS Rom.

Vor allem bin ich sehr verwundert über den vermeintlichen Grund der Tansfer-Absage. Sowohl die Ärzte des ÖFB als auch die medizinische Abteilung des RC Lens haben mich in den vergangenen Jahren eng begleitet und regelmäßig untersucht. Zuletzt bin ich eingehend beim Start der Saisonvorbreitung in Lens gecheckt worden. Hier ist nie eine Auffäligkeit festgestellt worden. Deshalb sind die Interpretationen des Medizinchecks in Rom für mein Umfeld und mich höchst irritierend und in keinster Weise nachvollziehbar.

Ich werde meine Situation jetzt mit den Verantwortlichen in Lens und dem ÖFB besprechen und mich auf die kommenden Aufgaben vorbereiten.
