But yea most cars wouldn’t have that either way.
And it’s still not enough to allow for automatic lane changes, parking & etc-

@Matt_E_Baumann @gerrylum2 @comma_ai As far as I’m aware, the only thing Comma can read from the car (other than the usual stuff) is the blind spot sensor.
It can’t use your car’s cameras, and simply relying on radar won’t work for lane changes & etc.
Comma only uses its road facing camera for driving at the moment.

It does lag sometimes but lasts around 5-10 hours on a single charge + I have a power bank in my backpack so I don’t really mind it.

(I’m waiting for at least the iPhone 20, and if it means I have to replace the battery again, so be it).

@EthanLipnik Like sure, I can do like 60% of my work on iPadOS (slower-), but the last 40% either require running a VM on my iPad (which is slow due to not having Hypervisor access), or using remote desktop to connect to a real computer.

(Mostly includes Java & Electron (JS/TS) development).

Longer charge cycles are done at home while you’re asleep.

+ If I go on a 300km+ drive I’d want to stop mid way to rest for a bit either way, so I don’t really care about a “slow” refill.

You can still share the same keyboard & mouse using continuity

I get it if you’re using your Mac on your iPad’s screen, but just connecting the iPad to an external monitor to display the Mac seems pointless
