In general, China is aware of their demographic issues and trying every possible experiment. Some of them include:

- Intentionally crashing housing prices[2]
- Banning tutoring to cut educational costs[3]
- Stopping "996" overwork culture[4]
- Promoting traditional masculinity[5]
- Promoting marriage culture[6]
- Scaling IVF facilities across the country[7]
- Tax incentives for more kids[8]
- Adding childcare services[9]
- Literally 20 more things[10]

Conclusion: they are flipping every possible policy and technology switch to encourage Chinese people to have as many kids as possible.

I have no idea whether this will work, but they have a history of trying things far outside the Overton Window.

I do think they're likely to see technological breakthroughs in fertility as they now have a favorable regulatory environment, and that's very important to watch.
