Your old Sportsman car at Daytona in 1982 @markmartin, it definitely looked better with a 02 on it. Do you remember who you sold any of your old Late Models to?
Rescheduled Kids Night this Friday with over 100 brand new bikes to be given away. Plus open wheel legend Sammy Swindell will be racing with the Midwest Mayhem Midgets and signing autographs and selling copies of his book.
@markmartin proclaimed this one of his biggest wins as a up and coming Late Model driver. Never seen footage of this before, the 1977 Rockford Speedway National Short Track Championship race. https://t.co/WgYB6TbReh
I love that 45+ years later, videos like this still surface. What a great battle between Dick Trickle and @markmartin at the Rockford Speedway back in 1978 https://t.co/DtE8qvaDzp
@TheAthletic it's a shame u don't care about NASCAR fans that subscribe. Your coverage keeps getting worse. Almost 4PM the NEXT DAY and still nothing posted about yesterday's race. No Xfinity or Truck coverage, a lame (same) 12 questions column & similar top 5 recap column weekly
@Kirt_Achenbach During that era he didn't own those cars, only sponsored most of them. He owned the #2 that Ruttman, Earnhardt, Martin and Shepherd ran. He also ran a 2nd car for 8 races for McCall, Sauter, Combs and Senneker. The 28, 44, 47, 71 and 90 were just sponsorship deals.
Hey @markmartin do you remember any back story on this #66 Late Model you drove in 1985? go 3:15 in to see your qualifying lap. https://t.co/COIHuhQzSz
@Nascar_fan_WY @Kenny_Wallace@NASCAR Yes he proved he got skills to be there but it was still with family money. He doesn't get noticed or win the Snowball Derby if his dad made $45K a year and he was racing a 7 year old chassis. Without Bill that means no $75K cars, full time crew chief, unlimited tires etc.
