@Techlife32 watched the T-Mobile earnings call. Interesting they wouldn’t give their churn number when asked. If you read their report it’s 1.09%. Not good.

@Techlife32 @ATT Since the towers were around city hall, band 14 (FirstNet), this is the temporary setup until new one goes live. Been an interesting past couple months!

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@Techlife32 @ATT For comparison, this is the old and now dismantled tower.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@Techlife32 @ATT @ATT is installing a new tower next to my office in New Mexico. Replacing old LTE low band era gear with this!

@Techlife32 Hi! There was a Verizon outage in New Mexico around noon today due to “multiple fiber cuts.” Affected ABQ and my area (4 corners). Was ELP affected?

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@PriceErrorsUS Thank you! It worked!

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@Techlife32 That gamepass price hike kills it for me.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@Techlife32 I go past that town on US 550 often. Glad they are improving service.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech I’ve had OnePlus phones for a while - currently with 12r. Great device!

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@Techlife32 AT&T is kind of spotty on I-25 between ABQ and EP. I frequently still get 5Ge in ABQ.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech Waiting for a new iPad Mini.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech Mine too!

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech Tests from the big three carriers. Sitting at home - northwest New Mexico.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech You make a good point, Sneed.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech I really love the Pixel Tablet. Got it on sale a couple months ago at BB. I use it mostly for media consumption while working at home. Good speakers.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech What app do you have running in the background that indicates the band?

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech I’m on iOS 17 beta. No issues on my side. Just some battery issue…seems to drain a bit faster.

[Kevin O'Donovan @Shortwave77]

@SneedTech Used to have TMHI but went back to Xfinity solely because of gaming. Need consistent low latency.
