For 30-40 years we pushed (underachieving) kids towards post secondary education. The balance is returning.

@JoePompliano This article is misleading. 1st, the coaches are certified based on their ability to engage children, focus heavily on fundamentals and dedication. The "participation trophies" are geared to sportmanship, improvement, effort etc.
Also, they excel in individual sports, not team.

But...If you're grading on accomplishments within their sport, and not popularity, then any list has to start with Michael Phelps. 5 Olympics, 23 gold 28 medals. No brainer!

With the higher Trump tariffs, we're relying on expensive Canadian and Mexican imports. (And Chinese) Groceries would be even higher without his efforts. And he upped the quarterly benefits 30%

@wingedwheelz @BR_OpenIce @HeleneStJames There is NO reason to panic. I'd like Steve to promote kid quicker for experience. But salary caps and Free agency limits him. So, we just have to wait and let the young talent gel. When they break through, they'll be contenders for a decade. That's the YZERPLAN.
