This was the first case of its kind to be performed in Northern Arizona.

@DrReddy_HPB @KristinLongMD @tnwrig2 @NurseTexas1 There’s a sh*tstorm of paperwork involved with the company and the hospital - only clarifying so others know how serious it is when grafts are dropped/contaminated/wrongly opened. It’s a huge deal and the hospital is nearly always charged.

When they’re consigned, they’re owned by the company but a hospital-signed contract states that if they’re damaged/used then the hospital replaces them. The rep can’t take them back without charge - that’s considered a gift and is illegal
