@Dallas_Holladay My mom got iodinated contrast and sneezed once so they told her she was allergic. I secretly rolled my eyes. The next time she needed IV contrast she got pretreated and still developed severe swelling of her face and lips.

@olsonplanner It also depends on what type of residency program. For people who match into a 7 year surgery program it might make more sense than a 3 year medicine program.

@NurseTexas1 When I was in residency a med student (who was not new) got mad bc the scrub tech didn’t have his gloves when he came into a case that had already started. He angrily threw an unopened pack of biogels right on top of the aortic endo graft 😳
