Enjoyer of all games (usually) - Doesn't understand people's hatred.
Happy 5th Bday to @TheDivisionGame. The first time I saw that E3 demo 7.5ish years ago I was all in. Since then I've done cosplays. Made friends in the community. Was part of a global effort video with other cosplayers. Connected with people at Ubi.
Thanks for being in my life.
@FurySevenSix I managed to snag one + controller off Gumtree a few years ago for about $120. It was practically unused, basically pristine condition.
They still had the original box for it, although that was a bit beat up.
Really hoping I'm able to get a 25th Anni console.
@solgob_ I don't have any issues with 4 and 5 being a colour progression system.
3 and Reach are of course the classics.
I hated what they did to Infinite though (bring back Unfrigginbelievable)
Would love to see them come up with 5 more to go to 15.
@NathanielGivens@LaboratoryMinds traffic slows to a crawl even when it's not really needed.
So in theory, yes, either option should make no difference as the maximum throughput is determined by the narrowest point.
In reality, zipper ends up being way less efficient than it should be compared to single lane.
@NathanielGivens@LaboratoryMinds You are assuming that before the merge point both lanes of traffic are moving at the same speed and that there is exactly enough spacing for cars to merge and no drop in that speed when a merge happens.
This doesn't happen in reality. Plus people are rude, don't let others in-
@Baylen53428481@nygma0451@BunkerDwellerYT That never went away with Halo though. In my teens I had many-a sleepovers at friends where we played Halo.
Plus LAN parties with a bunch of kids in the neighbourhood, carting our CRT's down the road, Xbox in a backpack to someone's house who had the space..
@ImKadaddle Website has been around for a good few years. I knew about it since late 2019 (had to check friend group messages for when I found it).
I come back to visit every now and then.
I worked as a manager in Fruit and Veg for a time. I've seen plenty of bad or off fruit.
I've never seen any of it look 'rubbery'.
What the fuck else is injected into this shit? It shouldn't be doing that.
@PaulTassi I've had a Gigabyte M32U for a couple years now and it's been excellent.
4K, 144hz, HDR, KVM.
I got it for $1000 AUD during Black Friday sales.
@UncleNickHub@Pirat_Nation Is it needed? no. Is it welcomed? for me it is.
The primary reason they're doing it though is this year is the 25th anniversary of the franchise. So it's a celebration of that.
@scifiguy_117@boinksi Yes, it is a lot cleaner/shinier like Infinite. But a lot of that geometry styling design and pattern work appears in Halo 3. Not necessarily to the exact same geometric complexity as here (hardware limitations no doubt). But it definitely evokes H3 Forerunner style.
@scifiguy_117@boinksi Artistically it's much more inline with Forerunner design and aesthetics established in later titles, especially the design language of Halo 3.
@ShepGoesBlep Only if I can't see properly in the cockpit. Either because it's a hypercar with narrow visibility, or because I'm driving a meme car with something on the window and I can't see.
@anu_xxxxxx@3dHV3j6I7CfeEtq@Weil__ For Forza Horizon 3, set in my country of Australia. They had a team that spend months here doing research and taking video and pictures of the sky in the outback.
@anu_xxxxxx@3dHV3j6I7CfeEtq@Weil__ The developers have team members that took many trips to Japan to capture pictures and video. They do a lot of research on the country that they set each game in.
