[Raju Baxi @raju_baxi]

@passportsevamea Applied for passport reissue. SMS says no need to carry printed copy of appointment letter. POPSK Bhavnagar demanding printed copy. This is just harassing the citizens. Had to go back, print and present it. High-handedness

When Iron Man came out in 2008, Robert Downey Jr. was *not* a marquee star.

He was rebuilding his career and paid a below market rate of $500k.

But the deal terms set him up for one of the great acting comebacks ever and he's earned $450m+ as Tony Stark.

Product & Geopolitics🧵

What is a DOCKERFILE?

A Dockerfile is a text document that contains all the commands a user could call on the command line to assemble an image.

In other words, it allows you to write these commands in a simple way, avoiding writing them one by one.

Birkin Bags are the crown jewel in Hermès $170B+ luxury empire. One bag can cost ~$50k and the record sale is $500k.

Why so pricey? Hermès has perfected the psychology of scarcity and demand (or as its CEO Axel Dumas describes it: “creating desire”).

A Netflix user will browse the app for 90 seconds and leave if they find nothing.

Thumbnail artwork is actually NFLX's most effective lever to influence a viewer's choice. A user will look at one for only 1.8 seconds, so NFLX spends huge to optimize them.
