The Haryana government's decision to shut down unrecognised schools is deeply unjust and harmful. Thousands of students are being displaced from learning environments where they feel safe and supported—only to be forced into overcrowded government schools that can't accommodate their needs. What about the future of these children? What about the thousands of teachers now facing unemployment?
Instead of closing doors, the government must act responsibly—grant recognition to these schools under the RTE Act and ensure quality education for all.
