Respected Sir,
We humbly appeal to the Government of Haryana to grant timely recognition to schools under the provisions of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009. This step is essential to ensure that every child in the state, regardless of their economic or social background, receives quality education in a safe and inclusive environment.
The recognition of schools under the RTE Act is not only a legal mandate but a moral responsibility towards our future generations. It guarantees that schools meet the minimum standards related to infrastructure, qualified teachers, inclusive practices, and child safety. Such recognition promotes:
•Equity and access for underprivileged children, especially from economically weaker sections (EWS) and disadvantaged groups.
•Quality education through adherence to prescribed norms, thereby raising academic and developmental outcomes.
•Accountability and transparency in private and unrecognized institutions, protecting the interests of parents and students alike.
•Inclusive growth, especially for children with disabilities, by ensuring appropriate infrastructure and support.
This move will strengthen the public’s faith in the education system and contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Haryana by improving literacy, reducing dropout rates, and empowering communities.
We request the esteemed government to take this initiative forward with urgency and compassion, thereby reinforcing Haryana’s commitment to inclusive, equitable, and quality education for all.

Enough is Enough!
Shutting down unrecognised schools in Haryana is a direct attack on the education of thousands of underprivileged children! These students don’t “fit” into your overcrowded, understaffed government schools. You’ve failed to build an inclusive system — now you’re punishing the schools that tried to fill the gap?

What about the teachers who will lose their livelihoods? What about the students who will be pushed out of the system entirely?
