Imagine if China demanded all wheat be bought in yuan.
All chips in yuan.
All shipping insurance in yuan.
And any country that refused would be cut off from global finance, sanctioned, destabilized, or bombed.
The West would call it tyranny by breakfast.
But when America does it with oil, it is called sound macroeconomics.
That is how deep the propaganda goes.
The empire’s most absurd crimes are always disguised as common sense.
When someone asks, “Why memorize ten thousand mantras when you can store them in one gigabyte?” the answer is: why run forty-one kilometres when you can cover the same distance in a car? The marathon is not for the road. It is for the runner. The climb is not for the mountain. It is for the climber.

I felt terrible sadness and shame. Guilt. Remorse. I bowed my head in forgiveness and gratefulness.
My community, the Kashmiri Saraswat Brahmins, owes its very existence to the ninth Sikh Guru, Shri Tegh Bahadur Ji, who sacrificed his life to protect us from annihilation at the hands of the Mughal barbarian Aurangzeb. While the historical memory of the Guru’s immense sacrifice is preserved, there is no pilgrimage by Kashmiri Hindus to Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib in Chandni Chowk, Delhi—where the Guru was beheaded—or to Gurudwara Anandpur Sahib in Punjab and Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib, where his head and body were cremated, respectively.
What is even more disheartening is that today, November 24, the day commemorating the Guru’s supreme sacrifice, most of us fail to teach our children about its significance or the gratitude we owe to the Sikh Gurus. We all are contributing to our collective forgetfulness, sliding deeper into an abyss as a community.
Out of deep regret and profound respect, I visited Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib today. I stood there in complete surrender before the Guru, seeking solace and paying homage to his unparalleled sacrifice.

“The strongest argument for socialism is that it sounds good. The strongest argument against socialism is that it doesn’t work. But those who live by words will always have a soft spot in their hearts for socialism because it sounds so good.”

#WATCH | Mumbai | Actor Akshay Kumar says, "I want to tell you all a small incident which happened at my house a few months back. My daughter was playing a video game, and there are some video games that you can play with someone. You are playing with an unknown stranger. While you are playing, sometimes a message comes from there...Then a message came, Are you male or female? So she replied female. And then he sent a message. Can you send me nude pictures of yours? It was my daughter. She switched off the whole thing and she went and told my wife. This is how things begin. This is also a part of cybercrime... I would request the Chief Minister that in our Maharashtra state, every week in the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth standards, there should be a period called cyber period where children should be explained about it. You all know that this crime is becoming bigger than street crime. It is very important to stop this crime..."
Let’s assume that dude has kidnapped your daughter…
Then we’ll see if you still joke about “slightly naughty.”
Will you clap for the kidnapper because he gave her fruits and a roof?
Will you pat his back because he didn’t throw acid, but instead stalked her with poetry and fake humility?
Ravana wasn’t a flirt. He was a criminal.
And the only reason you can sit today and make memes about him is because a man called Ram walked into history and drew a line called maryada.
Cross it, and you burn. Simple.
Educated? Sure.
Powerful? Of course.
But what good is wisdom when you use it to cage a woman? That’s not “slightly naughty,” that’s textbook predatory.
So yes, every year we set him on fire.
Not because of tradition, but because society needs a reminder.
That no matter how big your throne, how high your degrees, or how silky your words, If you touch a woman without her will, you end up in ashes.
Babus have been driving India on half brake, half clutch for decades. Can’t expect them to do anything that turbocharges. Instead of being enablers of India’s rise, they are bothered only about their own rise.
When Germany became an export powerhouse, it earned the nickname “exportweltmeister.”
Now that China is becoming an export powerhouse, the same phenomenon is labelled “industrial overcapacity.”
Of course, there are legitimate concerns about excess production in certain Chinese sectors. But the framing matters: Western surpluses are celebrated as evidence of virtuous competitiveness, while China’s surpluses are cast as problematic overcapacity.
I suspect this is because, across much of the world, Western economic and cultural hegemony is accepted as the natural state of affairs. That assumption needs to be challenged.

Shiva and Ganesha: The Cosmic Dance of Destruction and Wisdom
In the vast pantheon of Hindu deities, Shiva, the Supreme Ascetic, and Ganesha, the Remover of Obstacles, represent profound esoteric truths. They embody the eternal interplay between dissolution and creation, wisdom and innocence, the formless and the formed.
Shiva: The Eternal Void
Shiva, the Mahadeva (Great God), is the boundless consciousness that exists beyond time and form. He is the Destroyer, not in a malevolent sense, but as the force that dissolves illusion (Maya) to make way for renewal. His matted locks symbolize the unbound flow of spiritual energy, while the crescent moon on his head signifies the cyclical nature of time.
Shiva’s dance, the Tandava, is the rhythmic pulsation of the universe, the cosmic cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.
Ganesha: The Primal Wisdom
Ganesha, the elephant headed deity, is the child of Shiva and Parvati, yet he is also the first vibration of creation, the primordial sound (Om). The Elephant head symbolizes supreme intelligence, discernment, and the ability to navigate the material and spiritual worlds.
Ganesha is the Vighnaharta (Remover of Obstacles, but esoterically, he is the obstacle, the initiator who tests the seeker’s sincerity before granting passage to higher truths.
The Union: Shiva and Ganesha as One Truth
At the deepest level, Shiva and Ganesha are not separate. Shiva is the unmanifest absolute, while Ganesha is the first manifest principle, the bridge between formlessness and form.
- Shiva is the silence before creation, Ganesha is the first syllable (Om).
- Shiva is the void; Ganesha is the wisdom that arises from it.
- Shiva destroys the ego; Ganesha bestows the intellect to transcend it.
Traditionally, worshipping Ganesha before any ritual signifies invoking the divine wisdom that clears the path to realizing Shiva consciousness.
