🚨UGC new Anti-discrimination regulations

I have written an email to the Education minister and UGC about it.

Below is the email text. Did I miss anything?

"Respected Hon’ble Education Minister,

I am a General category citizen and writing to you to formally oppose the caste-based provisions and framework introduced through the new UGC rules and regulations

Here are the reasons why I oppose this:

1. Consequences for the General category

A) It will invite caste-based politics at the college level.

B) General category students will live in constant fear of being accused of caste discrimination.

C) General category girls will become an easy targets of eve-teasing and sexual harrassment.

D) False complaints filed "just before the exam" will ruin a meritorious student's life.

E) Parents will be afraid of sending their children to different states as different states have different OBC/ST/SC list.

2. Policy based objections:

A) It follows a "guilty until proven innocent" model. Is it not against our constitutional values?

B) The Equity committee doesn't have any General category male. This will lead to one-sided hearing in favour of ST/SC/OBC groups.

C) The New UGC Guidelines directly brands General Category as perparators and OBC/SC/ST as victims.

D) Do you believe that General category males engage in caste discrimination? Can you share complete list of accused(with caste) in ST/SC act cases publicly?

E) As per govt data, 81% accused in ST/SC act cases are OBCs. Then why has the UGC included OBCs under the ambit of “caste-based discrimination" as a victim?

F) Why there is no penalty on ST/SC/OBCs for fake complaints?

I hope the Ministry will take these concerns seriously and uphold the constitutional principles of equality, natural justice, and due process.

@WhatsApp Here's a suggestion: replace the vertical list of channels with a horizontal list of statuses. The reason I don't follow channels is that I prefer to view statuses by scrolling vertically, as horizontal scrolling is not a great experience.
