Here is some fabulous news from Tamil Nadu. A new beautiful Mangrove forest is coming up in 25 hectares at Kudikadu village in Cuddalore District. In one of it's kind initiative we have planted 37,500 propagules of Rhizophora & Avicenia species under the Green Tamil Nadu Mission last year. This would help to conserve marine biodiversity and enhance livelihood opportunities for the local community. Green TN Mission is breaking new grounds with fresh plantation of 5 lakh Mangrove propagules in the state.
