Attended Gisele Pelicot’s book launch in Toronto. Such a powerful & inspiring event.
I loved seeing women show up in such strong numbers. A sold out show. But I couldn’t help noticing how few men were in the room.
A clear sign that there’s still a long way to go. The gap remains.

PTI can do violent protests, cause millions in damages.

I am furious at Pakistan for inviting a violence perpetrator like Zakir kal-Naik. All he did in his speech was spread misogyny and dehumanize women. He called them “Public property “, yet he gets all the spotlight from every platform.

By including my name in the list of 51 women of Pakhtunkhwa directly involved in terrorism—the CTD department has made a mockery of itself. It speaks of how bogus the whole department is and their operations are nothing more than an eyewash.
