@_cjevanss@UKFPO Is there a potential positive in here where a hospital deemed undesirable and struggling may benefit from some of the best and brightest new doctors?
@RichardTaylor69 @ianjames_speaks @Vaughan_Wms Not for the public sector. We should totally have PH for each country for Saints day. George for England, David for Wales, Andrew for Scotland and Patrick for NI. Would be a huge boost to public morale regardless of football results
@ShaunLintern Real joined up national community frailty and falls prevention strategy would save millions on hospital admissions but needs to be an adjunct working in partnership with GPs, not dumped on practices without resources
@ShaunLintern Common set of management and HR policies for all NHS trusts would save money spent on duplication.
Repeal and simplify IRMER legislation and make policy and procedure identical across UK radiology depts to free up radiographer and radiologist time for examinations/
reporting
@MartinSLewis For the whole UK I think the place for PR is for an elected second chamber as reform of the lord's where it could add a broader range of perspectives to scrutinise legislation
@MoneySavingExp I was lucky enough to have a workplace mentor who made me fill in and send my pension forms on day 1 in my first job. Single best piece of advice I ever received and I think of her and pay it forward to every new graduate I mentor
@poynej62 @MikeBubbins Volunteering opportunities already exist. Charities, youth groups, sports groups, arts groups all crying out for volunteers. All they need to do is..........volunteer.
Compulsory volunteering is not volunteering, it's conscription which is something very different
@medicalmodelbri@LocumPA_Ltd Leave the Radiographers out of this please. Therapeutic Radiographers only recently got independent prescribing rights. Diagnostic Radiographers still don't. We are not part of this problem
@Azeem_Majeed In 99% of cases the GP is the most expert person available to make a judgement and is managing the condition leading to the absence. What's needed is for employers to be required to put in writing how they will support return to work for GP to consider if it's sufficient.
@MELANIEBOWDEN16 @emma_davies50 As an AHP with extended scope I think we risk being unfairly drawn into the PA argument. My scope is clear. I identify to patients and everybody else as a Radiographer, not a doctor, not like a doctor and not replacing a doctor. I work with doctors and other health professionals

@osteoporosisNI I observe the same in practice. Can roughly separate vegans who immediately tell me what they don't eat and those who tell me what they do eat. Those in the latter category can tell me exactly where they get their nutrients from
