Takes a lot to get me to post these days. Fun fact that folks are likely unaware of because I try to keep my political affiliations private. I am a conservative. I, like a lot of Albertans, am disappointed with #ableg.
I support caps in classrooms. I support Alberta Teachers.
"the rising cost of lawsuits" is why the UCP is considering no fault.
Have they considered the reason litigation costs are high is because insurers are a business first?
Injured people should receive fair settlements. Period.

What can you do about the Roe v Wade decision in Canada?
Donate to planned parenthood or other organizations that support women's reproductive rights in the US and meet with your MP and MLA to advocate for increased and free access to these life saving services in Canada.
I often get asked why feminism still exists. Intersectionality is why. The gap in pay is why. And for the first time in 50 years Roe v Wade is why.
Women do not have easy access to abortion services across Canada. Access will likely get worse or more costly. Time to work.
Update on my @calgarytransit saga. I am starting to think the #4 has no bus. 7 minutes early was not early enough. I am privileged enough that it doesn't matter when I arrive for work. Feeling bad for those folks who have to be on time.
@calgarytransit Tried to DM you but it appears I cannot. #4. Bus scheduled for 8:27, arrived at 8:22. No sign of a bus having been recently. Checked app at 8:25 and said it was 2 minutes away. Was not. 8:47 arrived right on time.
There should be a rule that @calgarytransit can't be more than 5 minutes early for a scheduled time at a bus stop. It is so irritating when I arrive early to the stop and the bus never shows up.
Step 1: Take a red eye flight from vacation.
Step 2: Have a power nap.
Step 3: Get out and vote in the #yyc municipal election.
Get out and vote today! #yycelxn
Even if you factor in the PPC "splitting the vote" in my riding there was still a significant drop and an increase in votes for both the liberal and the ndp candidate. Very interesting...
I know everyone is frustrated by the election results being identical but the individual riding results are so interest. For example, my MP was re-elected but their vote percentage dropped significantly. To me, being in a conservative stronghold, that is very telling.
