Your sad attempts at a “gotcha!” moment by saying “Oh yeah? Well what about CGI and Photography an’ stuff!?” do NOTHING but illuminate your ignorance!

CGI and photography and all other forms of digital art creation are ENORMOUSLY different!

1) CGI software does not literally scour the internet looking for images (mostly copyrighted) to steal from, which is precisely what AI generated imagery algorithms do… it’s ACTUAL theft!

2) CGI and photography require a human mind to craft and compose - just like sculpture, painting etc. - in order to make it ART! AI does the exact opposite… you’re literally asking a thing that doesn’t know what the word “know” means to do the CREATIVE PART for you!

Most of the opposition to AI isn’t about jobs or technology or gatekeeping or any of that other bullshit you hide behind.

And, NO, an AI pretending to learn is not the same as artists being influenced by other artists!

The differences are CAVERNOUS!

Do some reading!

Either come up with a better argument for your new stealing toy or STFU already!
