A third flight carrying 10 tonnes of humanitarian assistance has departed for Kathmandu.

The assistance includes portable generator sets, dignity kits, food packets and water purification tablets.

An 11-member team of doctors, paramedics & Recce team for Tunnel rescue operations is also on-board.

India continues to support Nepal’s ongoing relief & rescue efforts.

Journey resumes for 106 Nagpur passengers stranded in Nepal

All 106 passengers from Nagpur have safely departed from Kathmandu for Danapur, Bihar.
Following a phone call from CM Devendra Fadnavis, Nepal MP Sandeep Rana arranged four local mini-buses to facilitate their journey from Kathmandu to Janakpur.
The passengers are expected to reach the Janakpur–Bihar border tomorrow morning. Buses have been arranged for their journey to Danapur, Bihar, from where their return journey by train has also been arranged.

नेपाळमध्ये पुराच्या परिस्थितीत अडकलेल्या महाराष्ट्रातील पर्यटकांशी मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी व्हिडिओ कॉलद्वारे संवाद साधला. त्यांची परिस्थिती जाणून घेत, “घाबरू नका, शासन तुमच्यासोबत आहे,” असा धीर दिला.

पर्यटकांना सुरक्षितपणे महाराष्ट्रात आणण्यासाठी प्रशासनाला आवश्यक ते निर्देश दिले तसेच परराष्ट्र म��त्रालयाशीही संवाद साधून त्यांच्या सुरक्षित परतीला प्राधान्य देण्याबाबत पाठपुरावा केला.

नेपाळचे खासदार संदीप राणा यांच्याशीही मुख्यमंत्री यांनी चर्चा केली. महाराष्ट्रातील नागरिकांच्या सुरक्षिततेला सर्वोच्च प्राधान्य देत, त्यांना सुखरूप मायदेशी आणण्यासाठी सर्वतोपरी प्रयत्न सुरू आहेत, असेही मुख्यमंत्री यांनी पर्यटकांना सांगितले.

CM Devendra Fadnavis assures support to Maharashtra's citizens stranded in Nepal

CM Devendra Fadnavis interacted with tourists from Maharashtra stranded due to the flood situation in Nepal through a video call. After inquiring about their well-being, he reassured them, saying, "Do not worry, the Government stands with you."

He directed the administration to take all necessary steps to ensure their safe return to Maharashtra and also took up the matter with the Ministry of External Affairs, urging that their safe evacuation and return be given priority.

The Chief Minister also spoke with Nepal MP Sandeep Rana. Reiterating that the safety of Maharashtra's citizens is the Government's highest priority, he assured the stranded tourists that every possible effort is being made to bring them home safely.
