@Kantorcodes Good catch! Haven't weighed bundling ffmpeg yet, mostly because I wasn't sure about the licensing. If your ffmpeg has libass, captions already burn in. Looking into bundling now.
You're going to have to deal with the fact that nobody knows exactly what the future role of programming languages and frameworks are. Maybe it all does go away and it's a straight shot from prompt to microcode! But best you can do today is get the most out of what's here now.
@dhh has probably been my biggest inspiration as a software engineer.
For a long time, I felt like I was running a race that was slowly coming to an end. I just didn’t want to admit it.
Recently, I built a voice transcription tool for macOS that works like Wispr Flow. Except it’s completely local, open source, and free.
And honestly? I coded the entire thing with Claude Code.
That went completely against everything I believed about programming and “preserving the art.”
I fantasised being the last warriors fighting to keep that version of software engineering alive.
But building mockingbird with Claude and hearing DHH talk about the death of traditional software engineering, finally killed that old version of me.
And strangely, I feel lighter.
Knowing that the engineer who inspired me for so long is embracing this new reality makes it easier to let go.
Maybe this is my identity.
Try mockingbird (still pre-release but it works): https://t.co/Zvbo5KOqhT

Recently I started reading the book `` Automating boring stuff with python ``. Last night I had to convert my profile picture to a 1MB file. Then it clicked why don't I just use python for it. This was life changing .
I finally decided to get out of tutorial hell with the odin project. This course goes really deep into basics and helps you learn fundamentals of web development through project based learning. Can someone share me tips on how to get maximum out of this course
